Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Gets Dedicated Anti-Crime Patrol

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, OLOHUNDARE JIMOH, has launched a dedicated anti-crime patrol operation for the newly built Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway.  CP JIMOH said the anti-crime operation, made up of four patrol teams, is aimed at curbing all forms of criminal activities on the coastal highway corridor. He said the police patrol teams are to operate round the clock to ensure continuous visibility of policing and rapid response capability.  The Commissioner of Police said the operation is in addition to the existing patrol vehicles stationed along the highway since December 2025.
