NDLEA INTERCEPTS COCAINE CONCEALED IN LIPSTICKS, NABS NOTORIOUS DRUG KINGPIN IN LAGOS

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have intercepted cocaine consignments concealed in lipsticks and property title documents intended to be delivered in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. NDLEA spokesman, FEMI BABAFEMI, said the hard drug parcels were recovered from cargos being prepared for shipment at a courier company in Lagos on Thursday, July 3, 2025. BABAFEMI disclosed in a statement that the discoveries were made by NDLEA officers from the Directorate of Operations and General Investigation attached to the logistics firm. He said that a total of 420grams of cocaine factory-fitted into eighty-four pieces of female lipsticks heading to the UK were seized. The spokesman said another consignment of 280grams of the same Class A drug were uncovered in a property title document being sent to Saudi Arabia. FEMI BABAFEMI further said that operatives arrested a notorious drug kingpin, identified as AJETSIBO EMAMI, popularly known as ‘Warri Kinsman’, on Saturday June 28, 2025, in Ikeja Lagos. BABAFEMI said EMAMI was nabbed after NDLEA operatives dismantled his drug trafficking network in a three-day operation leading to the arrest of three other suspects.
