WOMAN BITES OFF PENIS OF ESTRANGED LOVER IN PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE

Police have arrested a woman identified simply as GIFT for allegedly biting off the penis of her male lover in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The incident happened in the Diobu area of the Rivers State capital and the woman was arrested by detectives attached to Nkpolu Police Division in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area. NewsTrends-NG gathered that trouble started after the male lover identified as Sunday requested to get intimate with the woman but refused, saying that he usually takes performance enhancing drugs. Sources knowledgeable about the incident told reporters that a fight broke out between the two, during which Gift managed to grab Sunday's penis and bites off the cap with her teeth. A loud scream by Sunday from the pain of Gift's bite drew the attention of neighbours at the Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3, Diobu Port Har court where the incident happened. Following the development, an angry descended on the woman just before the Nkpolu Divisional Police Officer stormed the scene with his men and saved the woman from being lynched. The Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, also confirmed the incident and the arrest of the woman who is in her forties.
