WOMEN HISTORY MONTH: US CELEBRATES NIGERIAN-BORN BRIGADIER-GENERAL AMANDA AZUBIKE
The United States Mission in Nigeria has recognised Nigerian-born Brigadier General Amanda Azubike of the US Military in line with the celebration of this year’s Women’s History Month.
In a statement on its social media page, the US Mission Brigadier General Amanda Azubuike was born in Nigeria, before relocating to the United States.
The state noted that she rose through military ranks, serving as a UH-1 pilot, platoon leader, Deputy Commanding Officer, and Senior Military Advisor at the Pentagon.
It said her journey demonstrates how dedication and perseverance can achieve the American dream.
