Argentina Confirms MESSI's Farewell Match Against Benin on Oct 6

LIONEL MESSI will play his last international match for Argentina on October 6, following the announcement of his retirement in August after two decades.

39-year-old MESSI was named in Argentina’s squad for a friendly against Benin on October 6, which would serve as his farewell appearance for the national team.

Argentine FA President CLAUDIO TAPIA said all of Argentina’s 2022 World Cup winners have also been invited to join MESSI for the game at River Plate’s Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires.
