NDLEA Intercepts Hard Drugs Concealed in Gas Cylinder, Nabs Female Dealer in Abia (VIDEO)

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has detained a 60-year-old woman, identified as CHIDIMMA SUNDAY, for drug dealing in Abia State.

CHIDIMMA SUNDAY was nabbed with 1.8kg skunk by the vigilante group in Umuna Autonomous community, Isialangwa North Local Government Area of Abia State.

The NDELA also arrested one 28-year-old ABUBAKAR USMAN at the Rumuokoro axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with 400 grams of skunk, 5 grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of tramadol, 5 grams of swinol and 18 grams of diazepam.

NDLEA spokesman, FEMI BABAFEMI said the separate operations in Rivers and Abia state were conducted on Tuesday, June 9, and Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

BABAFEMI said operatives in Delta, equally arrested a suspect ONYA JUDE, 36, on Monday, June 8, 2026, in possession of five gas cylinders used to conceal 2.8 kilograms of Loud, a strong strain of cannabis at Ogwashi Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area.

He said the breakthrough in Delta was followed by the arrest of two notorious dealers: 40-year-old JAMILU IDRIS (a.k.a Jama) and 33-year-old AMINU ABDULLAHI (a.k.a Momo) at Kasuwan Katako area of Gombe town, Gombe State.

The spokesman said they were caught with three big blocks of skunk that weighed 2.738kg at the time of their arrest by NDLEA operatives.

In Kano; one NGOZI GAIUS, 39, was nabbed along Zaria/Kano Road, Kano state on Friday June 12, conveying 6,000 pills of tramadol 225mg.

Similarly, two suspects: NASIRU HAMZA, 47; and MUHAMMAD SANI, 38, were intercepted by NDLEA operatives on patrol along Bode Saadu road, Kwara state, while conveying 600 compressed blocks of skunk, weighing 304kg, in a black Toyota SUV.
