FG PLANS EVACUATION OF NIGERIANS TRAPPED IN ISRAEL-IRAN HOSTILITIES
The Nigerian Government is making is finalizing plans for the emergency evacuation of citizens from Israel and Iran, due to the military hostilities between the two Middle East nations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the development in a statement signed by its spokesperson, KIMIEBI EBIENFA.
The statement noted that all Nigerians who are stranded in Israel and Iran are advised to abide by certain security protocols and contact the nearest Nigerian Embassy of Mission for registration and further instruction.
The Foreign Ministry commended staff of the Nigerian Missions in Tel Aviv and Tehran for their dedication and commitment to reaching out to the Nigerian community.
It assured the general public that the Federal Government remained committed to the safety and welfare of all Nigerian citizens, both at home and abroad.
