Lagos Night Club Owner, Pretty Mike, Arrested for Alleged Drug Party

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a popular Lagos night club owner, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, aka Pretty Mike, for allegedly hosting a drug party at his club.

NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said Pretty Mike was arrested alongside more than one hundred others following a raid at Proxy Night Club, located at No.7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Babafemi disclosed in a statement that NDLEA operatives stormed the location in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, on the suspicion of an ongoing drug party.

He also said cartons of illicit substances, including Loud, and laughing gas, were recovered from suspects at the party and the club’s store.

The NDLEA spokesman said the raid followed intelligence about the drug party, with undercover operatives infiltrating the venue between 11pm on Saturday October 25, before disrupting the gathering at about 3am on Sunday October 26, based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
