Multiple Rape Allegations: Pastor Chris Okafor Fails to Appear Before Police

As the Lagos State Police Command opens an investigation into multiple rape allegations against Pastor CHRIS OKAFOR, the leader of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries failed to honour an invitation extended to him by the police.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, OLOHUNDARE JIMOH, summoned Pastor OKAFOR to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.

In a statement confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer, ABIMBOLA ADEBISI said Pastor OKAFOR is also being investigated over other sexual offences and conducts likely to cause the breach of public peace.

The PPRO said the Pastor has been duly served with an invitation letter through his legal representative and is expected to cooperate fully with the State CID, in the ongoing investigation.

She said the Commissioner of Police has also directed full security protection for the alleged victims and encouraged them to feel free to come out and report at the State CID, Panti.

The Police spokeswoman further disclosed that the identity of the alleged victims would be kept confidential and will be protected.
