NAF AIR STRIKES KILL 20 TERRORISTS IN ZAMFARA

The Nigerian Air Force has reported the killing of twenty armed terrorists in airstrikes in Zamfara State.

NAF’s spokesperson, EHIMEN EJODAME, said the airstrikes were conducted on May 31, 2025, adding that more than twenty-one motorcycles were also destroyed.

EJODAME disclosed in a statement that the operation in the general area south of Mai-Galma in Maru Local Government Area of the state, was aimed at halting a planned attack armed bandits on vulnerable communities.

He said operatives deployed under Operation FANSAN YAMMA encountered over thirty motorcycles carrying armed terrorists heading into the nearby forest and opened fire on them, with reinforcement from ground forces.
