ODUTOLA said the complainant later escaped from her abductors on Monday, November 3, 2025, before alerting the Police, and revealed that other victims of the scam were also being held hostage in a two-bedroom flat at the Pakuro area of Ogun State.

The PPRO said following the report, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, LANRE OGUNLOWO, ordered the deployment of a tactical team from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit to raid the criminal hideout at Mowe.

She said during the operation, the detectives rescued a woman, identified as KENGNE MAEVA, and also arrested a male and female suspects whose names were given as TINGUE STEPHEN and NDZANA KAMGA ISIDORE.

However, the police spokeswoman said DONALD – the principal suspect remains at large, as investigation into the matter continues.
