Terror Attacks: ADC Knocks APC-Led Administration for Lacking Capacity

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, opposition coalition says people are dying due to security breaches across the country and the government appears incapable of dealing with the problems

The ADC is of the view that several states are facing security situations that are worse than the threats cited by President BOLA TINUBU in his recent declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.

National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, BOLAJI ABDULLAHI, who shared the views, said the increasing wave of attacks appear to give vent to the Christian genocide narrative of the United States.

ABULLAHI, who was responding to questions during a monitored interview programme on television, said it appears that the terrorists can sense the lack of capacity by the government to deal with them.

On the role of the opposition in a democracy, the ADC spokesman said they can only offer alternatives through criticism of policies that are not delivering the right results.
