Terrorists Kill 3 Security Operatives in Attack on NIPSS, Kuru, Near Jos
Gunmen have attacked the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, Kuru, near Jos, Plateau State, killing at least three security personnel.
Reports indicate that the attack happened in the early hours of today, as the bandits breached the perimeter fence of the NIPSS, and exchanged gunfire with security personnel guarding the facility.
The spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, ALFRED ALABO, confirmed the incident and the killing of three security operatives.
The Head of Public Affairs Department at the NIPSS, OSIME SAMUEL, also disclosed in a statement that the situation was quickly brought under control through security reinforcement.
