6.8 MILLION WHATSAPP ACCOUNTS OPENED BY SCAMMERS DELETED

Meta says nearly seven million Whatsapp accounts linked to scammers have been deleted in the first half of this year.

Meta – the parent company of Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram, which made this known, noted that most of the six-point-eight million blocked Whatsapp accounts were operated from Southeast Asia.

WhatsApp External Affairs Director, CLAIR DEEVY, said the team identified the accounts and disabled them before the criminal organizations that created them could use them.
