AAC Writes President TINUBU in Daring Bid to Use Aso Rock Villa for Campaign Council Inauguration

The African Action Congress, AAC, has requested an approval by President BOLA AHMED TINUBU for the use of the of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja for the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general election.

The AAC’s Presidential candidate, OMOYELE SOWORE, made this known in a post on his Facebook handle, together with a copy of the request letter addressed to President TINUBU.

The letter dated October 21, 2026, which was signed by the party’s National Secretary, OSHIOKHUE PHILIP IKPIOGHENA, indicates that the AAC plans to hold the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, on November 11, 2026.

The AAC noted that its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness, fairness, and equal treatment of political parties, considering that the All-Progressives Congress, APC, had used the Presidential Villa for a similar political engagement.
