HAALAND Not Interested in Barcelona's Move – PIMENTA

RAFAELA PIMENTA, the agent of ERLING HAALAND, has dismissed reports linking the Manchester City striker with a possible move to FC Barcelona.

PIMENTA was reacting to speculation that emerged on Thursday suggesting that VICTOR FONT, one of the candidates for the Barcelona presidency, was exploring the possibility of securing a preferential option for HAALAND’s future transfer to the Catalan club if he wins the election.

The reported move was seen as a potential boost in his bid to challenge the current president and favourite for re-election, JOAN LAPORTA.

However, PIMENTA quickly shut down the rumours, insisting that there has been no contact from Barcelona regarding the Norwegian forward.

The renowned Portuguese agent said in an interview with El Chiringuito de Jugones that Barcelona are respected but confirmed that neither HAALAND nor his representatives have held any discussions with the club about a transfer.

She also noted that the striker recently renewed his contract with Manchester City and remains happy at the club, adding that there was currently no reason to discuss a move while his situation in Manchester is going well.
