NIGERIA QUALIFIES FOR FIRST EVER OLYMPIC FLAG FOOTBALL EVENTS IN LOS ANGELES 2028

Nigeria will be participating in the first ever men’s and women’s Flag Football events at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The Vice President of the Nigeria American Football Association, OLUWASEYE OBATOLU, made this known following the national teams’ victory in the maiden African Flag Football Championship in Egypt last Saturday.

Flag Football is a non-contact variant of American football, where players need to pull a flag off the person with the ball instead of tackling their opponent to the ground.
