PFIPC Scandal: NDC Demands Immediate Sack of Chief of Staff to President, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA
The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has demanded the immediate sack of the Chief of Staff to the President, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, over an alleged large-scale corruption.
The NDC made the demand in view of GBAJABIAMILA’s alleged role in the purported nonexistent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council scandal, involving one Prince ADENIYI ADEYEMI.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, OSA DIRECTOR, the NDC said the scandal raised fundamental questions about the level of transparency, accountability and integrity of the Tinubu Administration.
OSA DIRECTOR said the NDC finds it deeply troubling that an agency the Presidency claims does not exist could open high-level financial accounts at the Central Bank of Nigeria, which require stringent documentation.
DIRECTOR said the opposition party also finds it concerning that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation approved three hundred and fourteen personnel for the supposedly nonexistent agency.
