PRESIDENTIAL SPOKESMAN MOCKED FOR CRITICISING NEW COALITION-LED ADC
The Presidency has played down the unveiling of the new leadership of the African Democratic Congress, which is driven by members of the 2027 coalition that is out to unseat President BOLA TINUBU.
Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, DANIEL BWALA, accused the coalition of hostile takeover of the APC from the original owners of the party.
BWALA said it was left to Nigerians to determine the value of the new ADC, adding that the motivations of coalition leaders had nothing to do with the expectations of the Nigerian people.
Speaking further, DANIEL BWALA said unlike the merger that produced the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 election, the coalition politicians in the ADC joined the party with the support of any party.
However, a political scholar, Professor JIDEOFOR ADIBE, disagreed with the opinions expressed by DANIEL BWALA, just as he mocked him for once speaking eloquently about former Vice President ATIKU ABUBAKAR.
Professor ADIBE also commended the coalition for making up their mind on the political platform to adopt and keeping the ruling APC in the dark about their plan to join the ADC.
