SARAH MULLALLY APPOINTED FIRST FEMALE ARCHBISHOP OF CHURCH OF ENGLAND

The Church of England has appointed its first female Archbishop of Canterbury, in the person of SARAH MULLALLY.

By the appointment, MULLALLY also becomes the first woman to lead the Church of England and the global Anglican community.

MULLALLY succeeds Archbishop JUSTIN WELBY, who stepped down earlier this year over an abuse scandal.

Reports indicates that King CHARLES has approved the appointment of MULLALY, as confirmed by the UK government.

Sixty-three-year-old MULLALLY becomes the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury. The former nurse is reported to have acknowledged in a statement that her new role comes with a huge responsibility, and she was trusting in God to carry her.
