Wahala No Dey Finish: PDP Gets Factional BoT, With Ohuabunwa As Chairman

The faction of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, led by ABDULRAHMAN MOHAMMED as Acting National Chairman, has inaugurate its own Board of Trustees, with Senator MAO OHABUNWA as the chairman.

The factional BoT of the PDP will rival the Senator ADULPHUS WABARA-led Board of Trustees, which is aligned with the UMAR DAMUGUN faction of the party’s National Working Committee.

Senator OHUABUNWA was elected during a ceremony at the official residence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, NYESOM WIKE, while ISAH DANSIDI emerged as the secretary of the board.

The factional PDP Chairman, ABDULRAHMAN MOHAMMED said the move was to restore true values to the party and regain public trust.

ABDULRAHMAN noted that the BoT led by Senator ADOLPHUS WABARA lost its moral balance, adding that his suspension by the Abia State chapter of the PDP was a difficult but necessary step.
