BUILDING A NEW NIGERIA, ENGAGING FOR PROGRESS AND UNITY – PETER OBI

2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has declared that a new Nigerian is becoming possible, after a meeting with Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

Peter Obi took to his X.com handle to outline what he discussed with Governor Mohammed during their meeting at the Government House in Bauchi metropolis.

Obi said that the state of our nation discussion focussed on ways to move our Nigerians forward; as well as governance and the economic hardships currently facing Nigerians, especially in the North.

The former governor of Anambra State said they also reflected on the need for competent and inclusive leadership that transcends political, religious and ethnic lines, and prioritizes prudent resource management and implements policies that would enhance the welfare of citizens.

He noted that at the current critical time, Nigerians must continue to engage, consult, and invest in initiatives that lift the people out of poverty and criminality while fostering a more productive and equitable society.

Peter Obi said that as always, his commitment remained steadfast in building a New Nigeria where good governance, transparency, and accountability drive national development.
