25-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED IN EPE, LAGOS WITH HUMAN BODY PARTS FOR MONEY RITUAL

CP Olohundare Jimoh has urged all residents of the state to remain watchful and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station.

CP Jimoh made the call following the arrest of one Samson Oghenebreme ‘m’ aged 25, in Odomola community, Epe for being in possession of human organs.

The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said operatives from the Odo-Noforija Division arrested Oghenebreme on April 25, 2025 followed the receipt of credible information about suspicious activity in the area.

CSP Hundeyin said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect was transporting the human organs from Edo state to a native doctor for the purpose of money making rituals.

He said the recovered human organs have been deposited at the General Hospital, Epe, for preservation while the case has been transferred to Edo State Police Command for continuation of investigation and prosecution.

Following the development, he said CP Olohundare Jimoh commended the swift response of the operatives and the vigilance of residents of Odomola community.

He also stressed the importance of timely information sharing, which he said played a vital role in the prompt arrest of the suspect.
