HOUSE ON THE ROCK PASTOR SURRENDERS STUN GUN TO LAGOS POLICE

The Lagos State Police Command has granted bail to Pastor PAUL ADEFARASIN of the House On The Rock Church in Lagos after he turned himself in yesterday over a controversial online video.

The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP BENJAMIN HUNDEYIN, said they also recovered from Pastor ADEFARASIN a stun gun, which he allegedly waved at a road user in the viral video.

CSP HUNDEYIN who confirmed the development in a statement, noted that the stun gun is not a lethal weapon or firearm, but it is a prohibited anti-riot equipment.

The Police spokesman said Pastor ADEFARASIN was eventually granted bail after interrogation at the Command headquarters in Ikeja yesterday, while investigation into the incident continues.

The House on the Rock Church Pastor turned himself over to the police on Tuesday, June 17, after he was exposed in a video on social media while driving around Lekki, waving an object that looked like a gun at a young man ostensibly filming social media content.
