NDLEA Seizes Cocaine Consignment Concealed in 70 Cocoa Butter Containers at Lagos Airport Export Shed
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has intercepted seventy parcels of cocaine concealed in containers of cocoa butter body cream heading to London, United Kingdom.
The illicit drug consignment was uncovered at the export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on October 14, 2025.
NDLEA spokesman, FEMI BABAFEMI said operatives also arrested three suspects in a series of follow-up operations across Lagos.
The suspects include a cargo agent identified LAWAL MUSTAPHA OLAKUNLE, who allegedly presented the consignment for airfreight.
FEMI BABAFEMI said a female healthcare worker OGUNMUYIDE TAIWO DEBORAH and MUTIU ADEBAYO ADEBIYI, the Chief Executive Officer of a travel agency, were arrested in a follow up operation on October 18, 2025.
