TWO KIDNAP VICTIMS AT IJEDE CREEK IN IKORODU, LAGOS, RELEASED

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the release of two residents of ijede creek side in Ikorodu who were abducted by kidnappers.

The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin said the victims were released following a manhunt by a combined team of security agencies and local vigilante group.

CSP Hundeyin said the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, ordered the coordinated rescue operations, which led to the release of the victims at about 2200hrs on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

The PPRO said the released victims have been reunited with their families, while the security operatives continue to search the Ijede creeks for the kidnappers.
