KANU CONSIDERS 'NO CASE SUBMISSION' AS FG CLOSES PROSECUTION ON TERRORISM CHARGES

The Federal Government has closed its case against in the terrorism trial of NNAMDI KANU, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Prosecuting lawyer, ADEGBOYEGA AWOMOLO, announced the closure of the prosecution’s case after its fifth witness concluded his testimony.

AWOMOLO, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, told the Federal High Court in Abuja that the prosecution was satisfied by the evidence led and exhibits tendered.

However, the defence lawyer, KANU AGABI, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said the defendant plans to file a no-case submission in due course.
