KWARA UTD, RIVERS ANGELS WIN 2025 PFC TITLES

The President Federation Cup tournament ended in Lagos over the weekend, with Kwara United and Rivers Angels emerging as champions of the men’s and women’s competitions respectively.
The victory for Rivers Angels, who were defending champions, is the tenth so far, as they defeated Nasarawa Amazons on penalties to clinch the women’s title.
On the other hand, Kwara United won their first-ever national trophy at the grand finale of the President Federation Cup in Lagos on Saturday, after beating Abakaliki FC from Ebonyi State on penalties.
Meanwhile, SHOLA SHOBOWALE of Nasarawa Amazon was voted at the Most Valuable Player of the women’s competition, while ABASI OFON UWA of Ibom Angels emerged as the Top Scorer, and ANDErLINE MGBECHI of Rivers Angels was ranked as the Best Goalkeeper.
In the men’s competition, VICTOR OKOYE of Kwara United was voted as the Most Valuable Player, MERCELLE AKINOCHO of Beyond Limits FC emerged as the Top Scorer, while SURAJ AIYELESO of Kwara United was voted as the Best Goalkeeper.
