RIVERS STATE JUDICIARY EMBARKS ON EASTER BREAK FROM APRIL 14

The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, has approved Easter vacation for the state judiciary, with effect from Monday, April 14 to Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

The Easter break was announced in a statement by the Chief Registrar, Rivers State High Court, David Dahua-Maduenyi, which noted that a vacation Judge shall be designated to entertain very urgent matters.

Dahua-Maduenyi further noted that the State Chief Judge wants members of the public to know that the Easter vacation is in pursuant to provisions of Order 49, Rule 4B of the High Court Civic Procedure Rules 2023.

According to the statement, normal sittings of the High Courts would resume on Tuesday April 29, 2025.
