RIVERS STATE JUDICIARY TO EMBARK ON ANNUAL VACATION JULY 21
Judges and Magistrates in Rivers State are set to proceed on their annual vacation beginning from Monday, July 21, 2025, as approved by the Chief Judge, SIMEON CHIBUZOR-AMADI.
The Chief Registrar of the Rivers State High Court, DAVID IHUA-MADUENYI, announced in a statement that the vacation will last until September 17, 2025.
The statement said the vacation is in pursuant to Order forty-nine, Rule four of High Court of Rivers State Civil Procedure Rule, 2023 as altered.
The statement revealed that all judicial divisions of the High Court shall remain closed during the vacation while insisting that normal court sitting shall resume on Wednesday, 17th, September, 2023.
DAVID IHUA-MADUENYI further disclosed that any urgent Matter filed during the vacation shall be entertained by any of the vacation judges to be appointed by the Chief Judge.
